"Total peace and tranquility, we came away feeling so relaxed and refreshed. Thank you!"
With sweeping lawns, a secluded rose garden and a Victorian freshwater pool, the gardens are a wonderfully tranquil place to escape to.
Pennard House has, in fact, two gardens within a garden, divided by a small lane. There are the open, sunny lawns in front of the house and, across the road, a second garden with clipped hedges and the inviting spring-fed pool which in turn feeds a series of ponds below. Keen gardeners will enjoy a quiet stroll among the colour, scents and blooms, while the more active can swim in the crystal clear water of the freshwater lake.
Wander past the rose garden and you’ll find the Victorian walled gardens where Pennard Plants has one of the most remarkable collections of plants in the region. There are a number of one day gardening courses run throughout the year.
